After several restless weeks of waiting, search engine giant Google has reportedly begun rolling out the new Android KitKat update to the 2012 flagship smartphone LG Nexus 4. The new update is reported to include a few additional bugfixes introduced with the original KitKat build.
Being an affiliate of Google, all nexus devices have the privilege of being the first to receive the latest firmware updates among all Android devices. Staying true to that, today 238 MB Android 4.4 KitKat OS has been made available to the LG Nexus 4 via OTA (Over-The-Air). Seems like Google has taken the extra time to eliminate a maximum number of bugs before releasing the latest Android version to their former flagship.
The process is executed in phases, hence Nexus 4 as well as Nexus 7 (2012 and 2013 models) and Nexus 10 tablet owners in some regions may receive the update in coming days. Surprisingly Android 4.4 KitKat OS has also been pushed out to Google owned Motorola phone Moto X in US.
So did you get the notification? If not don’t be sad update is on the way.
