“DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA ABOUT THE PRICE WE WILL PAY IF WE DON’T FIGURE OUT WHAT’S KILLING THE HONEYBEE?”. THE HUMAN RACE DYING WITH HUNGER. Yest that’s right. According to sir Albert Einstein
“If the bee disappeared off the face of the earth, man would only have four years left to live.”
Why he said that?
Nearly one-third of the world’s crops are dependent on honeybees for pollination, but over the last decade these magnificent insects have been dying at unprecedented rates in whole world. Bee hives are dying off or disappearing thanks to a still-unsolved mystery called colony collapse disorder (CCD). The bottom line is, if something is not done to improve honeybee health, then most of the interesting food we eat today is going to be unavailable.
Honey Bees are not on the verge of extinction but their falling population may lead to serious food problems. The majority of fruits and vegetables would go away. That includes apples, cherries, blueberries, avocado, broccoli, most leafy greens, cucumbers, pumpkins, and many more. But more than that, in a world where up to 100,000 species go extinct each year, the vanishing honeybee could be the sign of a permanently diminished planet.
